(L.A.) Timothy McMillan, 38, Died at a Restaurant

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at a restaurant.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Timothy McMillan.
Manner of Death: Undetermined
Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrest During Prone Restraint by Law Enforcement
Cause of Death B: Schizoaffective Disorder and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Condition: Sleep Apnea
RIP TIMOTHY MCMILLAN (August 16, 1978 – September 13, 2016)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:21 a.m.
At approximately 4:00 a.m., the decedent carjacked a Rosemead city vehicle and drove it to a McDonald’s. He walked into the restaurant, argued with the manager, then sat down at a table to eat.
Eventually, LASD deputies would arrive and restrain him to the point that he was bloodied and spitting up blood. Paramedics arrived and declared him deceased.
From reports, it was clear that the decedent had been suffering from mental illness.
The deputies involved were Ramon Chavez, Steven Marquez, Nathan Botten, and Alexander Zambrano.
