(L.A.) Tijae Boykins, 28, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Tijae Boykins.

Height: 5 feet 11 inches / Weight: 220 pounds

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP TIJAE TIMOTHY BOYKINS (May 28, 1997 – September 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent had two arrests for robbery, in 2017 and 2018. He was shot in the face by a rival gang member in South L.A. around 2020.

After playing football at Hawkins High, his involvement in gang life also affected his father Timothy and brother Kobe.

Kobe Boykin currently plays for Delaware State University.
