Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black female.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Tianna Thomas.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:13 a.m.
The decedent was apparently found lifeless inside a sleeping bag on a beach in Santa Monica. She is presumed to have been homeless.
Lifeguards discovered the woman’s body around 7:05 a.m. Police said she had visible trauma to her face.
