(L.A.) Thuan Chung, 60, Died in a Murder-Suicide

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Asian male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Thuan Chung.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at a hospital.

The decedent and his 56-year-old wife were victims of a shooting that happened in Baldwin Park at around 5:07 a.m. The shooter turned out to be his wife’s 71-year-old brother who then killed himself.

Their names appear to be Vietnamese.

Thuan Chung and Bich Lu were married to each other. Vien Chi Lu and Bich Lu were siblings.
