Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Thomas Sanchez Rivas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Alcoholic Cirrhosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.
