(L.A.) Theodis Thomas, 40, Died Outside a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black male that occurred outside his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Theodis Thomas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

RIP THEODIS THOMAS (December 30, 1984 – January 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:48 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
