(L.A.) Thayron Paxton, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Thayron Paxton.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Pelvis

RIP THAYRON PAXTON (January 28, 1982 – April 8, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:01 p.m.

The decedent was shot in Lancaster by an unknown suspect.

LASD said the shooting happened in the 1200 block of West Avenue I, near 13th Street West, at around 2:35 p.m.
