Texas Church Shooting: At Least 26 Dead

Multiple people shot inside First Baptist Church east of San Antonio, Texas.

A witness reported seeing a man walk into the church in Sutherland Springs and began shooting around 11:30 a.m. local time, Central.

Reports are that the gunman is now dead.

Children are among the victims.

Authorities are describing it as a “mass casualty situation.”

First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs is located in the 500 block of 4th Street in the small, south Texas town about 40 miles east of San Antonio. They have a YouTube channel featuring videos of services. Their most recent video upload was last Sunday, October 29.
