The coroner’s office identified the man as Teodoro Espinoza-Cardenas.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Traumatic Blunt-Force Head Injury

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus, and Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:28 a.m.

The decedent was from Guatemala. He entered the United States without inspection in 1992. His body was flown back to his final resting place in his home country.
