RIP TANIA BROWN (December 25, 1988 – May 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:34 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Acetylfentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid analgesic that is an analog of fentanyl. It is estimated to be 15 times more potent than morphine and several times stronger than heroin.

Acetylfentanyl has never been approved for medical use and has only been sold on the illicit drug market.
