Ervin-Santos murders

The East Coast Crips (ECC) are a large African-American street gang primarily located on the East Side of South Los Angeles, California. They consist of several independent affiliated gangs named after streets and neighborhoods, such as the 1st Street East Coast Crips and 59 East Coast Crips, among others.

ECC members have been involved in territorial disputes and conflicts, notably with Latino gangs such as Florencia 13, with whom they have had a violent rivalry centered on control of drug trade in certain areas north of Watts.
 
In 2023, seven ECC members were arrested in connection with seven murders across LA County, including a quadruple murder at a house party in Inglewood in 2022.
