170 Freeway

State Route 170, commonly called the 170 Freeway, is a north–south freeway in the San Fernando Valley region.

Officially, it is also named the Hollywood Freeway, a name it shares with the adjacent U.S. Route 101 because the two routes form one continuous freeway.

The 170 connects the Hollywood Freeway (US 101) in North Hollywood to the Interstate 5 near Sylmar, serving as a major commuter route through the eastern San Fernando Valley.
