Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Asian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Susan Lu of Rosemead.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP SUSAN LU (May 4, 1968 – February 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:21 a.m.

The decedent was killed by deputies from the LASD’s Temple station.
