(L.A.) Steven Higgins, 30, Died on Christmas

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steven Higgins. Born in Kern County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Hypertrophic Heart Disease

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP STEVEN MATTHEW HIGGINS (May 7, 1994 – December 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early April, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
