Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sophin Chea.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The government investigator had initially misspelled the decedent’s name as Sophan. It appears to be a Cambodian name.
