Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sophia Rubin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP SOPHIA RUBIN (October 3, 1982 – April 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:38 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early June, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
