(L.A.) Sohrab Esfandiari, 42, Died From Meth Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sohrab Esfandiari.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:32 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent’s name appears to be Persian / Iranian.
