(L.A.) Skylaire Alfvegren, 44, Died in a Bathroom

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in the bathroom of her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Skylaire Alfvegren, resident of Grove Street in Tujunga.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Mitragynine Toxicity

RIP SKYLAIRE ALFVEGREN (April 9, 1977 – August 27, 2021)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:45 p.m.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
