Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shone Henderson.

RIP SHONE HENDERSON (August 5, 1963 – March 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:05 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
