Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 88-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shirley Horie.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Complications of Subdural Hematoma

Cause of Death B: Blunt Force Head Injuries

Other Significant Conditions: A-Fib, Depression, CHF, COKD [sic], HTN, COPD, CABG

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:35 a.m.

Atrial fibrillation is a quivering or irregular heartbeat, or arrhythmia.

CHF = congestive heart failure

HTN = hypertension

COPD = chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

CABG = coronary artery bypass graft
