(L.A.) Shirley Chaudhuri, 49, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shirley Chaudhuri.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Amphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Liver Disease, Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent was arrested by Lennox deputies in 2018 for possession of controlled substance.
