(L.A.) Shin Yi, 63, Died at a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old male of Korean ethnicity that occurred at a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Shin Yi.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Quadriplegia

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:15 a.m.

The decedent was living at the Longwood Manor nursing home at 4853 West Washington Blvd 90016. He was taken to the Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center at 6041 Cadillac Avenue in the 90034, where he died.
