(L.A.) Shelley Muro, 52, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shelley Muro.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Emboli

Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thromboses

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP SHELLEY MURO (July 19, 1971 – July 31, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:51 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
