Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Shawn Nicholson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP SHAWN NICHOLSON (March 3, 1969 – April 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:27 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
