(L.A.) Sharon Walker, 66, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Sharon Walker.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Cocaine

RIP SHARON WALKER (August 13, 1956 – February 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 27, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
