(L.A.) Shabre Young, 25, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Black female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Shabre Young.

Height: 5 feet 6 inches / Weight: 180 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP SHABRE LYNYA YOUNG (May 19, 2000 – May 31, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 30, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
