Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Serigo Perez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Combined Ethanol and Fentanyl Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Obesity; History of Polysubstance Use

The government investigator indeed spelled the decedent’s forename as Serigo and not the common spelling Sergio.
