(L.A.) Sergio Chamalé, 21, Died on New Year’s Eve

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sergio Chamale and listed his race/ethnicity as Caucasian.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Chest

RIP SERGIO DAVID CHAMALE (March 8, 1987 – December 31, 2008)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:26 p.m. It was New Year’s Eve.

The decedent was found inside an automobile that was stationary at the intersection of Occidental Boulevard & 3rd Street in the 90057 zip code of Westlake, by MacArthur Park. He was then transported to a hospital where he was declared deceased in the emergency room.
