Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Scott Schaeffer.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:30 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 10, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
