(L.A.) Sarkis Karadjian, 26, Died at a Restaurant

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Armenian male that occurred at a restaurant.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sarkis Karadjian.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:55 p.m.

The suspect Nerses Arthur Galstyan was responsible for killing four people that day. The shooting happened at a banquet hall. Three victims died on scene, while one was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Galstyan and his brother, Sam Galstyan, were with a group of guests remembering Artiom Tashchian, who died the previous year in a car crash. After visiting the gravesite, the mourning party moved to the Hot Spot restaurant in Valley Village for lunch.
