(L.A.) Sang Yoon, 55, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old male of Korean ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sang Yoon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Heroin, Cocaine, and Codeine

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Rectal Cancer (Stage 3 or 4) with Radiation and Chemotherapy

RIP SANG YOON (June 4, 1967 – March 9, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
