Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black female that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sandra Smith. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Lewis.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl and Phencyclidine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:01 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
