Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Black male that occurred at an apartment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Samuel Collins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP SAMUEL COLLINS (January 19, 1973 – June 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:48 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
