Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sammie Johnson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine, Hydrocodone, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:42 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
