(L.A.) Sage Smith, 25, Died at a Freeway On-Ramp

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at a freeway on-ramp.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sage Smith.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP SAGE SMITH (January 20, 1998 – March 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:09 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 31, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
