Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence in Long Beach.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ryan Temple.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:32 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 14, 2024, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and the common cold; it’s the active ingredient in Benadryl.

UPDATE: As of February 2025, the Department of Medical Examiner has changed the manner of death from suicide to undetermined. The medicolegal investigator is unable to definitively conclude as to whether this was a natural, accidental, suicidal or homicidal death.
