(L.A.) Ryan Martinez, 46, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ryan Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP RYAN MARTINEZ (September 6, 1978 – September 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:36 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
