Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Russell Furtado.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: ARDS Associated with Sepsis, Clinically

Cause of Death B: Status Post Treatment of Polymicrobial Bacteremia

Cause of Death C: Urinary Tract Infection; Decubitus Ulcer

Cause of Death D: Inmobility From Untreated Hip Fracture with Sindesmosis

Other Significant Conditions: Pontine Myelinolysis Associated with Hyponatremia; Dehydration; Chronic Alcoholism

RIP RUSSELL FURTADO (January 10, 1956 – October 24, 2004)
