(L.A.) Rufino Garcia Rivera, 36, Killed by Carbon Monoxide

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old male of “Caucasian” ethnicity that occurred in a vacant lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rufino Garcia Rivera.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Carbon Monoxide Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP RUFINO GARCIA RIVERA (October 8, 1983 – November 2, 2019)

Miguel and Rufino Garcia Rivera, 28 and 36, collapsed on the floor of a desert greenhouse. The brothers, recent arrivals from Mexico, died of carbon monoxide poisoning near the small cannabis plants they had been hired to cultivate.
