(L.A.) Rowen Magpantay, 49, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Filipino male at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rowen Magpantay, resident of Hurley Street in La Puente.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Crisis

Cause of Death C: Hypertension

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Methamphetamine, Atheroslerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ROWEN MAGPANTAY (September 11, 1972 – July 7, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:50 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.
