(L.A.) Rolando Alvarez Tizol, 58, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Latino male that occurred in a public park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Rolando Alvarez Tizol.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

Because the DME has ordered drug screening, the next public update may take three to five months.

The decedent was found at Lemon Grove Recreation Center in the Melrose Hill area by the 101 Freeway and East Hollywood.
