(L.A.) Rodolfo Avila Carrillo, 35, Died in Jail

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred while in the custody of the Sheriff’s Department.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rodolfo Avila Carrillo.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:08 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
The decedent was found expired in the living area of the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic.
