(L.A.) Robin Newton, 66, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Robin Newton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Ruptured Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Abuse

RIP ROBIN NEWTON (August 18, 1958 – May 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
