Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Rodriguez.

Cause of Death : Sequelae of Chronic Alcohol Use

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP ROBERT RODRIGUEZ (May 16, 1964 – June 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:02 p.m.

In mid-December, the medical examiner changed the cause of death from general alcoholism. The results of the tox screening presumably had came back from the lab as positive. This is now considered an unintentional / accidental drug overdose.
