(L.A.) Robert Laymance, 51, Died in an Embankment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Robert Laymance.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP ROBERT EUGENE LAYMANCE (March 7, 1974 – July 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
