(L.A.) Robert Garcia Cervantes, 35, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Garcia Cervantes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Lidocaine

RIP ROBERT GARCIA CERVANTES (October 25, 1989 – January 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:31 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
