(L.A.) Robert Cox, 54, Died on Catalina Island

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on Catalina Island.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Robert Cox.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday afternoon.
The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s place of death as a botanical garden. The decedent and his companion Daniel Sarner were in a small two-seater plane that crashed into a ravine south of Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Garden.
Note that there are multiple decedents named “Robert Cox” in public records.
