(L.A.) Rickie Yarborough, 69, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rickie Yarborough.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Multiple-Organ Failure

Cause of Death B: Sepsis With Group A Streptococcus Bacteria

Cause of Death C: Lower Extremity and Inguinal Cellulitis

Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Effects; Fatty Liver

RIP RICKIE YARBOROUGH (July 17, 1953 – December 21, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:24 p.m.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose because of the coke.
