Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Richard Kelly.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

RIP RICHARD KELLY (July 31, 1967 – January 16, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:21 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
