(L.A.) Richard Alcaraz, 58, Died in a Nursing Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Latino male that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Richard Alcaraz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Airway Obstruction by Food Bolus

Other Significant Conditions: Dementia, Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, Congestive Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease
